AWTT
Accessibility Statement
Effective: March 2026
Advanced Water Treatment Technologies is committed to making awtti.com accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities.
1. Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. AWTT considers awtti.com to be partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA — partially conformant meaning that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the conformance level.
2. Approach
Accessibility is built into the site through:
- Semantic HTML structure with appropriate heading hierarchy
- Descriptive alternative text for informative images and decorative-image suppression where appropriate
- Keyboard-operable navigation and form controls
- Color contrast that meets or exceeds WCAG AA minimums for body text
- Multi-language support (English and Spanish) with proper
langattributes and hreflang relationships - Machine-readable structured data (JSON-LD) so AI assistants and screen readers can surface key facts
3. Known Limitations
Some content is not yet fully accessible. Known limitations include:
- The 3D pond visualization in the evaporation calculator is decorative — the numeric results above and below it provide equivalent information in text.
- Some legacy product imagery may not yet have refined alt text.
- The mobile mega-menu uses a JavaScript toggle that may require enhancement for full screen-reader compatibility.
We are actively addressing these items.
4. Assessment
This statement reflects an internal review. We have not yet engaged a third-party accessibility auditor; engaging one is on our roadmap.
5. Feedback
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of awtti.com. If you encounter a barrier or have a suggestion, please contact us:
- Email: sales@awtti.com
- Phone: 1-956-244-6523
We try to respond to accessibility feedback within five business days.
6. Compatibility
The site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) on desktop and mobile, in combination with assistive technologies including current versions of NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.
